Fever continues...

Miss E slept well but woke up with a fever over 101. She also mentioned that her throat hurts when she swallows. Inside it is red though I can't tell if her glands are swollen or not by feeling them. Her only symptoms are a fever and sore throat....could it be strep or tonsillitis? I plan to keep my eye on her today and if no improvement, we'll be heading to the doctor tomorrow.
